2016 Open Enrollment is October 1 to November 13, 2015
This is the only time of the year you can make changes to your benefits without a qualifying life event.
If you want everything to stay the same on your health and dental plans, you do not need to do anything.
Changes may be made to the following:
*If you are enrolled in the Section 125 plan or want to enroll, you MUST enroll by November 13, 2015. This IS THE ONLY TIME OF YEAR TO ENROLL.
You may make changes to your 403b plan and direct deposit at this time as well, though you are eligible to do so at any time throughout the year.
All the forms you will need to make changes to your benefits are available in the Human Resources section of the OESU website.
IMPORTANT: NEW INFORMATIONLIFE INSURANCE CHANGES: This year, OESU will be moving to a new life insurance carrier effective November 1, 2015. As a result, our new carrier, Horace Mann, will have a representative available at each school to review your beneficiaries with you. NEW INSURANCE OPTIONS: There will be new insurance options available to all employees which will go into effect on January 1, 2016. These will be discussed at your staff meetings on the dates below and information will be made available on our website as well. New insurance options include accident and critical illness insurances.
I will be attending staff meetings at each school and be available before and after for individual appointments and questions. If you are unavailable on the date I am scheduled to be at your school, please let me know and we will arrange another time that works for you.
