Background Checks & Costs

All employees, including substitutes, of the Orange East Supervisory Union must go through a background check process.  This includes,

  • Vermont Crime Information Center (VCIC) Fingerprinting
  • VCIC Subscription Authorization
  • Agency of Human Services (AHS) Subscription Authorization

Orange East Supervisory Union is always looking for individuals to join our substitute list as teachers, paraeducators, custodians, and food service.

Once you have completed an application we will contact you to begin the process of becoming an OESU Substitute, including background check and new employee paperwork.
